Man hangs onto paraglider mid-air without safety harness, watch nail-biting video

A nerve racking clip of a man hanging onto a paraglider mid-air without any safety has come to light. The horrific episode took place at Chile's Las Vizcachas Geopark in Puento Alto. The entire sequence of events was recorded on camera and the clip was posted on Twitter.

In the video, a paraglider and a pilot can be seen with all their safety gear and harness, ready to takeoff. The instructor was also there and was helping them lift-off.

However, the man could not leave the equipment on time while preparing the two for flight. And, because of a strong wind blowing, the trio were launched into the air.

The man did everything he could to stop the flight but was not able to do so. He precariously hung onto the paraglider without any safety harness or gear for a few metres mid-air.
