TNPSC Group 5 recruitment 2022: Apply for ASO and Assistant posts; salary upto 1.34 lakh

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has begun the registration process for recruitment to the post of Assistant Section Officer and Assistant in Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service under Group 5. The deadline for the submission of the online application form is September 21, 2022.

Candidates are allowed to edit their application forms from September 26 to September 29. The TNPSC will conduct the written examination on December 18, 2022.

With this recruitment drive, TNPSC aims to fill a total of 161 vacancies of Assistant Section Officer/ Assistant in Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service. Out of the total vacancies, 74 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Section Officer (Other than Law and Finance Department), 29 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Section Officer in Finance Department (Secretariat), 49 vacancies are for the post of Assistant (Other than Law and Finance Department), and 9 for the post of Assistant in Finance Department (Secretariat).

Candidates applying for the above mentioned posts should not be more than 40 years of age, as on July 1, 2022.

It is to be noted that candidates have to pay Rs 150 as registration fee and Rs 100 as an examination fee.

• Assistant Section Officer in Secretariat (Other than Law and Finance Department): Rs.36,400- 1,34,200/- per month
• Assistant Section (Level-16) Officer in Secretariat (Finance Department): Rs.36,400- 1,34,200/- per month
• Assistant in Secretariat (Other than Law and Finance Department): Rs.20,000- 73,700/- per month
• Assistant in (Level-9) Secretariat (Finance Department): Rs.20,000- 73,700/- per month
