SSC CGL Recruitment 2021: Multiple vacancies released for Group B, C posts

SSC CGL 2021: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a new job opportunity for the Combined Graduate Level Examination or SSC CGL Tier-I examination on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form on or before January 23, 2022.

Through this recruitment drive, SSC will fill vacancies for various posts of Group B, C government jobs.

Candidates who want to apply for the vacancies must submit their application form only at ssc.nic.in.

Applicants should note that the eligibility criteria for different posts are different. Therefore, be careful while applying for vacancies.

SSC has invited a total of 36 types of posts across various departments in the recently released notification. The exact number of vacancies will be notified later. These posts include- Inspector or Income Tax, Sub Inspector, Inspector (GST & Central Excise), Assistant Audit Officer, Auditor, JSO, and so on.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2021-22: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

The minimum qualification required for the posts is Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for the posts is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 32 years.

However, candidates should note that the age limit is different for every post.

The upper age limit will be given to the reserved category as per government norms.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2021: Exam Pattern

SSC CGL exam will be held in two phases- tier 1 and tier 2.

The date of the Tier-1 exam will be notified soon, however, it would be held in April 2022. Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the Tier-2 exam.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2021-22: Important dates

• Last date to register against SSC CGL notification- January 23, 2022, till 11:30 pm
• Last date to pay a fee- January 27, 2022
• Editing of application form- January 28 to February 1, 2022
• SSC CGL tier-1 exam- April 2022

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Applicants applying under SC/ST/PwD/ESM/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
