Railway Recruitment 2023: Apply for over 1700 posts, important details inside

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has invited online applications for recruitment of apprentices. The apprentices will be recruited under the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railway for the year 2022-23.

Interested candidates can visit the official website of South Eastern Railway and apply for the post. The deadline for the submission of the online application is February 2.

With this recruitment drive, the South Eastern Railway aims to fill a total of 1,785 apprentice posts.

Railway Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification

To apply for the post, candidates must have a matriculation certificate with a 50 percent marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and an ITI certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done). The ITI certificate should be granted by NCVT/SCVT.

Railway Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to general category are required to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from paying the fee. It is to be noted that the application fee is non-refundable.

Railway Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 15 to 24 years of age as of 01.01.2023.

The Railways will shortlist candidates on the basis of merit list prepared (Trade-wise). The list (in each trade) will be a prepared by prepared percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation.
