Railway Recruitment 2022: Over 5000 vacancies released for 15 plus; no application fee required

Railway Recruitment 2022: If you are looking for jobs in Railways then the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell, has notified a job opportunity.

The vacancies have been notified for the engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of N.F. Railway against 5636 slots, official notification reads.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies at the official website of NFR-nfr. indianrailways.gov.in.

The application process has begun on June 1, 2022. The last date for the submission of the application form is June 30, 2022.

Through this recruitment drive, NFR will fill a total of 5636 vacancies for the post of Apprentice.

Railway recruitment 2022 Important Dates

• Online Notification released: May 30, 2022
• Submission of online application process: June 1, 2022, at 11:00 hrs
• Last date for submission of online application: June 30, 2022, till 22:00 hrs

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on merit list (trade-wise, unit-wise, community-wise). Aspirants should note that the merit list in each unit will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done.

The panel will be based on the average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Railway recruitment 2022 Age Limit

The minimum age limit required for the post of an apprentice is 15 years of age while the maximum age limit for the post is 24 years as of 1st April 2022.

Application Fee

• Application fees (Non-refundable) –Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
• No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
