Indian Navy MR Matric Recruitment 2021: Online registration to begin from this date, salary upto Rs 69,000; 10th pass can apply

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: The Indian Navy is going to open its application window for the post of sailor Matric Recruit (MR). Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form through the official website of the Indian Navy at joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The submission of the Indian Navy MR Matric online application form will be started on October 29, 2021. The last date for the online registration is November 2. According to the official notification, only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for the post.

Around 1500 candidates will be called for a written test followed by physical tests. Candidates should note that the cut-off for the written test will be different for each state.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have qualified class 10th from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the post.

Age Limit:

To apply for the post, an unmarried aspirant must also have been born between April 1, 2002, and March 31, 2005.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Selection criteria

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written and physical tests. There will be multiple-choice questions asked in the written test, which will include science, math, and general knowledge. The exam will be conducted in two languages- Hindi and English.

According to notification, the physical test will be held on the same day as the written.

For the physical fitness test, candidates will be asked to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes and will have to do 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups.

Salary Structure:

Candidates who will get qualified for the post of Sailor will have to undergo a training period.

During training, candidates will get a salary of Rs 14,600 per month. After completion of training, an aspirant will get a salary of Rs 21,700 – 69,100 based on the level 3 salary of the Defence Department Matrix. Apart from this, Military service pay (MSP) of Rs 5200 per month and DA will also be given.
