IBPS Officer Scale Recruitment 2020: Exam postponement notification withdrawn; check latest update

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be going to conduct the IBPS Officer Scale examination as per the previous schedule. The decision has come after IBPS has withdrawn the postponement notification for the 2020 Officer Scale examination.

Therefore, the exam will now be held on September 12 and September 13. The admit card for the IBPS Officer Scale examination has been released at ibps.in.

Earlier on September 7, IBPS announced to postponed the examination which has now been withdrawn on September 8, 2020.

The exam now will be conducted as per its earlier schedule of September 12 and September 13 and a call letter for the same has been issued on the official website, ibps.in.

As per the latest notification, “IMPORTANT NOTICE (CRP-RRB-IX) It has now been decided to hold the Online Preliminary Examinations under CRP-RRB-IX for Officers Scale I on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020 as scheduled earlier as per IBPS notification dated 10.08.2020. The notice dated 07.09.2020 stands withdrawn.”

“The Exam dates for Online Preliminary examination for the post of Office Assistants are19.09.2020, 20.09.2020, and 26.09.2020,” the notification said.

IBPS 2020 RRB exam will be held for Officer Scale I, II and III, and Office Assistant positions for 43 participating banks.

To qualify for the post of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant exams, candidates need to appear for the preliminary and main examinations. While Officer Scale-II and III will consist of a Main exam and interview for all the officer scale position.

The application process for IBPS RRB IX 2020 was started from July 1 and concluded on July 21. The result for the IBPS preliminary examination will be declared in October 2020 and the Main exams will be conducted in either October or November.
