The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to release the result of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination on its official website- ctet.nic.in.

The CTET exam was held between December 16, 2021, and January 21, 2022, in online or CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Aspirants are anxiously waiting for their CTET result but the result has been delayed.

For candidates who want to pursue their career in the teaching world then the CBSE CTET exam is for them.

By qualifying CTET exam, candidates can easily apply for the CBSE school teachers.

The exam is conducted by CBSE to recruit teachers for primary (Class 1 to 5) and secondary schools (Class 6 to 8).

CBSE designed the pattern of the exam in such a way that the candidates who only want to teach in primary school can appear for paper 1 while candidates who want to teach in secondary schools will have to sit for paper-2.

Candidates who wish to teach in both primary and secondary schools can appear for both papers.

To qualify for the exam, aspirants have to score marks equal to or greater than the qualifying marks decided by the CBSE.

Career Scope After CTET:

Candidates who will qualify for the CBSE CTET exam will be recruited as a teacher and after years of service, they can be promoted to the ranks of principal in school.

CTET Salary(approx):

· For Primary School Teacher (Class-1 to 5)- Rs. 1.5 lakh per year (approximately)
· For Secondary School Teacher (Class- 6 to 8)- Rs. 2.3 lakh per year (approximately)

CTET Certificate:

  • It is mandatory for any central government teaching job.
  • CTET qualified aspirants are eligible to apply for all other central government teaching jobs like KVS, NVS Army Teacher, ERDO, etc.
  • CTET certificate is mandatory for any central government teaching job.
