Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen who is currently busy commentating in the Indian Premier League took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture of himself playing gully cricket with some kids. Pietersen is currently in Bengaluru to cover Royal Challengers Bangalore playing against Mumbai Indians.

This is not the first time Pietersen did something like this, in past he posted a picture of himself posing with a CRPF soldier at the Mumbai airport. He is also very vocal about the killing of rhinos in Africa and India. Pietersen runs a campaign and an NGO named SORAI (Save our Rhinos Africa and India).

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians will be playing their second match of the season. Both teams are yet to open their account this season. RCB got off to a rough start, being dismissed for 70 in the season opening fixture in Chennai. Despite posting a low total, RCB still put up a fight – though the flawed selections for the conditions meant they just didn’t have enough ammunition to finish the job.

Playing XI:

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli, Parthiv Patel, Moeen Ali, AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Shivam Dube, Colin de Grandhomme, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ben Cutting, Mitchell McClenaghan, Rasikh Salam, Jasprit Bumrah/Lasith Malinga.
