The former Indian pace bowler Ashish Nehra has given a shocking statement in the ball tampering scandal and he has shown his support to Steve Smith. Nehra even opposed the lifetime ban on the Australian skipper Steve Smith.

According to ANI, "Life ban will be really harsh for them (David Warner and Steve Smith). Not just for them, but for any player. You have to give them credit that they admitted their mistake. I think to step down from the captaincy & one test match ban is enough for both the players" said Nehra.

This is to notice that the ball tampering case come out in the third test match in between Australia and South Africa. Even the Australian skipper Steve Smith accepted this and after the investigation, he got suspended from remaining two Test matches against South Africa. Team's vice-captain David Warner was also caught being a part of this activity. Both the players have fined and the especially the Cameron Brakcroft played the important role in it.

Lifetime Ban: ICC's action can go worst for both the talents of Australia and according to the rulebook they both can be banned for a lifetime in cricket. As soon this ball tampering case has come out the Australian Cricket's main official James Saarland made an official apologizes to the cricket fans.
