Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has reached a point in his career where most of the talks about him are related to his retirement and his future in international cricket. Legendary Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly who also captained MS Dhoni and played a huge role in his selection has said that the wicket-keeper-batsman has to decide whether he can win matches for India.

“He (MS Dhoni) is at that stage of his career where he has to evaluate where he stands. He has to decide if he can win matches for India. If he can continue to contribute like MS Dhoni, not someone else,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by India Today.

Recently, former Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag said retirement is MS Dhoni’s personal call but selectors should talk to him. While the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar has said retirement is his personal call and we should give him that space.

MS Dhoni is currently not part of the Indian squad that has travelled to the Caribbean to play a bilateral series against West Indies. Dhoni has taken a two-month break from cricket to serve in the Indian Army. Dhoni is part of the Indian Army’s para-military forces and was posted in Kashmir valley for 15 days. Dhoni is an honorary lieutenant colonel in the Indian Army.
