Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah becomes the first Asian to pick fifers in South Africa, Australia, England and West Indies. Jasprit Bumrah demolished the West Indies batting attack in the second innings of the game when he picked up 5 wickets for just 7 runs.

“Feeling good and we built pressure as a bowling unit which was nice. We used the breeze to our advantage and stuck to our plans. A lot of hard-work and practice goes into that (about bowling the out-swinger). I always had the in-swinger but the more I played the more confident I got,” Bumrah said at the post-match presentation.

West Indies skipper Jason Holder won the toss and asked Virat Kohli to bat first. India scored 297 runs in the first innings while West Indies was bundled out for 222 runs. India then scored 343 runs in the second innings and declared the innings.

Indian bowler demolished West Indies and bundled them out for just 100 runs, thus winning the game by 318 runs.
