A bizarre incident took place during a T20 match in England where the wicket-keeper hits bowler while attempting a run-out. During a Vitality T20 match between Durham and Yorkshire at Riverside ground, Yorkshire wicket-keeper Jonathan Tattersall was captured hitting his teammate Keshav Maharaj while attempting a run-out.

Although Tattersall didn’t manage to hit the stumps on that occasion his team Yorkshire managed to defend a moderate total of 146 runs. Yorkshire bundled out Durham for 132 runs, thus winning the match by 14 runs.

Despite being hit with the ball the South African spinner Keshav Maharaj continued to his spell but couldn’t manage to take any wickets. The official Twitter handle of the tournament posted the video on social media which gained a lot of likes in no time.

For Yorkshire Kohler-Cadmore scored the most number of runs before he was dismissed in the 17th over. Kohler scored 52 runs while opening the innings. While chasing the total, D’Arcy Short and Scott Steel opened the innings for Durham as they put up a 70-run partnership stand. Steel fell one short of his fifty while Short scored 29 runs. The hero of the match was Yorkshire’s Jack Shutt who claimed a five-wicket haul in the match.
