India won ODI series in South Africa; Twitterati celebrate the winning

The team India had a historic win in the fifth one-day international at St George's Park on Tuesday. The fantastic performance of Rohit Sharma is winning heart over the internet.

Rohit Sharma's 115 score was his major innings in three tours of South Africa. India's 73 scores led the tourists to take the cup by a 4-1 lead in the six-match series. It was the first success for the team India in seven bilateral or multi-team series in South Africa.

In first 13 overs, the South African team lost their first 3 wickets, that raised the chances of team India's win. Hardik Pandya struck crucial blows by dismissing JP Duminy and AB de Villiers.

Hashim Amla played a marvelous inning of 71 with a partnership of 62 with David Miller and 39 with Heinrich Klaasen. Pandya's direct hit made him walk towards the pavilion, effectively ending South African team's hopes.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to have created some history,” said Indian captain Virat Kohli, who praised what he described as a “complete performance” by his team.
