Anna University cancels theory exams, click here to know the rescheduled dates

Due to inclement weather, Anna University has suspended all examinations and classes till 28 November. Examinations scheduled between November and December have also been rescheduled. According to the information available on the official website of the University, this applies to all affiliated colleges for the UG and PG degree programmes.

Heavy rain is being witnessed in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.

According to media reports, Chennai and various other districts of Tamil Nadu - including Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Vellore and Cuddalore - have declared a holiday for schools and colleges on Monday.

According to a DNA report, Pondicherry University postponed examinations in the medical, engineering and MCA streams, scheduled for Monday, due to the rains.
