Oil marketing companies did not make any revision to fuel rates on Tuesday, which means that petrol and diesel rates across India have been fixed since May 21 last year, when the previous pan-India revision was made.
That being so, In Delhi, a litre of petrol continues to be available for Rs 96.72, while an equal quantity of diesel costs Rs 89.62. In Mumbai, on the other hand, a litre each of petrol and diesel is selling at Rs 106.31 and Rs 94.27 respectively.
