Why does Ranbir Kapoor call Jagga Jasoos the most important film of his career?

Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos went on floors in 2013. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead, has suffered from a series of delays in the shooting schedule.

The detective drama is currently on the last leg of its shooting schedule. Ranbir Kapoor, who is also producing the film, said he hopes the film will hit the big screen by April 2017.

During a recent media interaction, he said:

"Jagga Jasoos is the most important film of my life and even I am eagerly waiting for it to release. We all have invested three years of our lives in the film and I am hoping for the film to hit the big screen by April next year."

Pritam has composed the music for Jagga Jasoos, which will be produced by Ranbir Kapoor, Anurag Basu and Sidharth Roy Kapoor.
