When Katrina Kaif got upset with Vicky Kaushal’s father; here’s why
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushals’ wedding rumours have been hitting headlines for the past few months. However, both actors have not commented on their wedding news. Amid these rumours, an unseen picture of Katrina Kaif with Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal has gone viral on social media.
For the unversed, Vicky Kaushal’s father is a stunt director by profession. Katrina Kaif had already worked with Vicky’s father in her 2015 film Phantom, which was directed by Kabir Khan.
The viral picture is from the set of the film which features Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan, and Sham Kaushal.
During Phantom promotions, Katrina had spoken about her action scenes in the film. She sounded a bit upset because Vicky Kaushal’s father didn’t ask her to fire the gun in one of the important scenes of Phantom.

While talking to Times of India, Katrina said, “In a scene, Saif and I are in a jeep and a Syrian army tank approaches us. Saif had to leap towards the machine gun and open fire on them.
When the shot was set up, our action director had conveniently thought that the jeep's driver and Saif will be firing the guns and I will crouch and hide near the door. I explained to Sham Kaushal, the stunt director that I play an ex-RAW agent, trained adequately for combat. Then why do Saif and the army guys get a chance to shoot while I am expected to hide!”
She further told that when the film director Kabir Khan came on set, she told him that the stunt directors were not ready to give her a gun. Afterward, Kabir told them to allow Katrina to participate in the gun-shooting scene.
“It's an automatic reflex to not give blazing guns to an actress. But in this case, I was instrumental in making the sequence happen,” Katrina added.
