After Baby, Akshay Kumar is back with yet another thriller. In Airlift, which releases early next year, Kumar plays an Indian multimillionaire who helps save the lives of over 1,70,000 Indians stranded in the tension between Iraq and Kuwait.
The film teaser, which released on 18 November, hits all the right chords and seeks to evoke patriotism at every moment.

Kumar plays Ranjit Katyal, a Kuwaiti resident who is of the same age as the actor. This age factor adds to the realistic theme of the film. Kumar seems to have completely thrown himself into the character of the egoistical, confident Katyal, who is asked to devote himself to a purpose that is much bigger than himself. We also get a glimpse of how he coordinates with the Indian government to pull off a successful rescue mission.
The background score is hard-hitting and blends in perfectly with the serious subject the film is dealing with.
