Bollywood just saw the release of the much-speculated film of the year and here we are talking about Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding, a movie that have the female lead played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania. The movie is doing wonders and the box-office numbers are the proof. The makers, the cast and the audience are super happy about the same but there are people on the social media who cannot help but spread negativity in the environment.

The same happened when one of the actress from the film Swara Bhaskar was brutally trolled for her 'masturbating' act in the film. Swara, in the film, is seen playing the role of a woman whose marriage is on the verge of breaking up just because of her attitude and behaviour which seems to be like a free bird. During a particular scene in the film, Swara can be seen pleasuring herself when suddenly her husband appears in the scene and gets shocked to see her.

Few of the people, on social media went on to criticize the actress for the scene and her role and said that they were ashamed to see such a scene with their family. One of the user wrote, "Hey @ReallySwara just watched #VeereDiWedding with my grandmother. We got embarrassed when that masturbation scene came on screen. as we came out of the theater my grandmother said I'm hindustan and I am ashamed of #VeereDiWedding.”

Another user came out in her support and wrote, "Why are so many sanskari people watching #VeereDiWedding with their grandmothers?" People also said that they were embarrassed to see that particular scene in the film. Well now the actress herself has opened up on all the flak about the scene that she is receiving.

Talking about the same, the actress told a popular portal that she has got sued to such people who target her. She said, "I have been targeted by paid trolling in the past and I'm used to it. Many twitter users and some prominent comedians and commentators have turned the ‘I took my Grandmother to watch VDW' into very funny satirical comments on twitter. I'm grateful both for their support and their humour."

Further she said that social media has become a big platform where people are expected to behave decently and said, If we see someone being abused, slammed or slut shamed in a public place wouldn't we stand up and defend the person from being attacked.(sic) Likewise we must stand up and protect the social media from indecent uncivilized attacks. Basically I am engaged in debates and arguments with trolls so that that precious public space doesn't get taken over by bullies and perverts."

It is sure that none of these perverts affect the actress as she has got used to them. She is currently happy and is enjoying the appreciation that the film is getting. More power to you girl!
