Thappad Screening: Anurag Kashyap has this advice for Amit Shah on #DelhiIsBurning

Anurag Kashyap is one such person who never fears to speak his mind when it comes to political matters. The filmmaker who was present at Taapsee Pannu’s starrer Thappad screening shared his views on unrest in Delhi and massive protest that have broken out in the northeastern parts of national capital resulting in 20 death and 189 injured so far.

During the screening when he was questioned about the attacks in Delhi said, “Duniya mai humari aadhi problems solve ho jaayenge agar home minister sorry bol de toh.. kitni problems solve ho jaayenge.” As soon as he said this he received warm applause from the audience present at the screening. Well, this is not the first time Ghost Stories director voiced his opinion on the ongoing protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Among other celebs, Anurag is quite active on all the political events going on in the nation and through debates and tweets he has expressed his concern and anger on the same.

Meanwhile, the film helmed by Anubhav Sinha will hit the theatres on 28th February i.e Friday. The film stars Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi among others. The story deals with the issue of domestic violence wherein husband plants a slap on his wife at an office party, in the midst of colleagues. The lady who couldn't take that slap decides to take stern action against her husband and slams a legal notice on him.
