Sanjay Leela Bhansali hit the headlines when he announced two movies Gangubai Kathiawadi and Baiju Bawra after scrapping Inshallah due to Salman Khan. Earlier, reports were doing rounds that Ajay Devgn has been finalised as the main lead in the film. However, a new report is doing rounds that the actor has turned down the project.
As per Koi Moi, Ajay who was offered the role of Tansen has turned the offer as according to him Baiju’s character is meatier than that of Tansen and this is the only reason why he said no to the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film.
On the work front, Ajay will be next seen in the 2020s most anticipated film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior that will clash with Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey’s Chhapaak on 10th January 2020.
