While promoting her upcoming film Neerja in Mumbai, Sonam Kapoor told Catch that she's very glad to be the director's first and only choice to portray Neerja Bhanot film. The actor is also proud that she has managed to work with accomplished filmmakers in the industry so far, and got to learn a lot from them.

I was the first choice for Aanand L Rai in Raanjhannaa and Sooraj Barjatya in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
I feel lucky when a director like Ram Madhvani believes in you so much, you too begin to feel the same about yourself. It is a huge blessing because a lot of times, you stop believing in yourself," said Sonam.

The actor, who was last seen opposite Salman Khan in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also revealed that she is a very sensitive person at heart, and people often take advantage of that. She says:

Rakesh Mehra, Aanand L Rai, Shashank Ghosh, Sooraj Barjatya and now Ram Madhavni -- all have really believed in me and said that 'We don't care what anybody says, we know what you are' and the same has built a lot of confidence in me.
A lot of people play many games in this industry and I don't know how to do that. I am a very sensitive person and I start believing in the negative things said about me. A director's trust in me is the best thing that can happen to me."
