Udta Punjab has fared well in its opening weekend. The film raked in around Rs 34 crore in its three day run at the Box Office.
Diljit Dosanjh's presence in the drug drama helped it record nearly 100% occupancy at Punjab and Delhi. The film also performed well at Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
The film failed to witness noticeable jump in collections at the mass circuits over the weekend. The Box Office trend from here on will mostly depend on metros.

Considering the genre, the weekend collections are very good. However one can't rule out the curiosity factor that came into picture post the entire censor controversy.
