Salman Khan's Chinese connection: Stars with Last Fight's Zhu Zhu in Tubelight!
Catch had exclusively reported that Kabir Khan is looking to cast a Chinese actress opposite Salman Khan in his upcoming period drama, Tubelight. After two months, it is confirmed that renowned Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu has come on board for the much-awaited film that hits the big screen in Eid 2017.
Zhu Zhu, who is known for films like The Old Cinderella and Last Fight is currently in Ladakh along with the Tubelight team. The actress took to twitter to share her picture with Salman Khan, confirming her presence in the film.
On 6 August, 2016, the actress hinted being a part of a Bollywood film by tweeting "Having my first Hindi lesson".
Tubelight is essentially a love story set against the backdrop of the Indo - Sino war. In the film, Salman Khan will be seen essaying the role of a simple-minded man who is looked down upon by society as he is slow to pick up things around him.
Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight also stars Sohail Khan in a pivotal role.
