Salman Khan beaten by... Salman Khan as Main Hu Hero crosses 10 million hits on YouTube
No one in this country would have a doubt about Salman Khan's stardom. Be it acting, production or even singing, the actor always manages to get support from his fans.
As the news about Salman Khan singing the title song of his home production Hero was out, the Twitter world shared their excitement. Post the positive response the trailer of Hero got, the producers came up with the first song of the film 'Main Hu Hero' sung by none other than Salman Khan. This was rather the USP of the film and the makers always expected the song to be a huge hit.
The song which was up on YouTube on 8 August 2015 has crossed 10 million views within 3 weeks and is already topping many musical charts. The song composed by Amaal Mallik also has another version sung by Armaan Mallik, however director Nikhil Advani has decided to use Salman Khan's version in the film over the former.
Another interesting fact is, the song 'Main Hu Hero' has garnered more views than the theatrical trailer of Hero. In the past, Salman Khan has sung the song 'Hangover' from Kick which got 9.5 million views on YouTube and Khan has broken his own record with 'Main Hu Hero'.
Hero marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Official remake of yesteryear classic by the same name, Hero releases on 11 September, 2015.
