Saga of Madhuri Dixit's die-hard fan 'Madhuri fida' Husain aka MF Hussain
As Madhuri Dixit has turned a year older we thought why not bring to some amazing stories from her past that was talk of the town then and relive the era. Popularly known as Dhak Dhak Girl rose to the fame from the film Tezaab in 1988, her famous song Ek Do Teen won immense love and appreciation from all over the nation.
Since then her dancing skills and hook steps kept improving leaving the viewers stun. As the actress enjoys the huge fan following, however in this list there is a very famous name who was deeply in love with the actress.
Yes, you all are right MF Hussain’s love for Madhuri Dixit was not hidden from the tinsel town. Until Filmfare Awards the painter was not aware of Madhuri and admired Sridevi wholeheartedly. It was only after Hum Apke Hain Kaun that the painter’s gaze shifted to Madhuri.

Hussain was smitten by actress’ dancing skills and the way she moved her hips in Didi Tera Deewana from the film Hum Apke Hain Kaun, made MF drool for her. M.F was mesmerized with Madhuri’s beauty and dancing skills in the film that he watched the film for not less than 67 times.
Well, his madness for the actress didn’t just end here, he was so mesmerized with the actress that he wished to make a film with her. Well, his wish also came true; he made his directorial debut with Gaja Gamini and cast Madhuri and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles. The film was a tribute to Hussain’s mother who died when he was an infant.
Hussain’s love didn’t disappear even when Madhuri married Dr Nene, he kept painting her with all his love. From an excerpt from Hussain’s autobiography Where Art Thou he revealed, “The fraternity would ask me, ‘How come she’s still in your paintings? We don’t see much of her, anywhere else, nowadays.’ To that my reply was, she married Dr Shriram Nene and has left for Colorado. She’s so far and yet so close.”
