Sad! Kangana Ranaut starrer Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi put on hold

Post the release of Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi, it was announced that Kangana Ranaut will do another biopic and this time it will be on legendary actress and politician Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa biopic that will be made in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu will be titled as Thalaivi.

While reports are that in Hindi the film will be titled as Jaya. However, according to the latest reports, the film might put on hold. If reports are to be believed Kangana Ranaut starrer project has been able to collect the fund that will be put on the film. The reports told that the film will be made in 55 crores around in all three languages. While in that Kangana Ranaut will be charged with 20 crores.

 

On the other hand, reports are also that director Gautham Vasudev Menon is making a web-series on Jayalalithaa's life and it is titled as Queen. Further details are still awaited regarding the project. While on the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma also announced a film on Jayalalithaa and Sasikala's friendship.

It has been told that now the makers will have to wait for some time to see the film to go on floors. Whether rumours are that it may go on floors from October end.
