Rajinikanth's Robot 2 (Enthiran 2) to be a full length 3D flick

Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for his 159th film, Kabali, which is inspired by the life of a 64 -year-old Chennai don. Post Kabali, the actor is all set to start shooting for one of India's biggest film, Robot 2 (Enthiran 2), directed by Shankar.

According to reports, Shankar has finalised the script for the sequel of the 2010 blockbuster and is currently working on the technical aspects of the film. Starring Rajinikanth as the protagonist, Robot 2 will be India's most technically advanced film shot using the motion capture technology, which will be something on the lines of Hollywood film Avatar.

The excitement doesn't end here, the film will be shot in 3D and Shankar has plans to shoot the films at a Hollywood studio under the guidance of renowned technicians.

More about the star-cast of the film, Shankar has signed Amy Jackson as the female lead opposite Rajinikanth. Amy has worked with Shankar in his last film 'I' for which she earned a lot of acclaim and love from the audiences.

As far as the antagonist is concerned, makers are in talks with Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger and the actor is sorting out his dates for the film. The movie is expected to go on floors next year.

A couple of weeks ago, in an interview with Catch, talking about her upcoming films, Amy Jackson said,

"I am doing a very big film, but I am not allowed to speak about it. The makers will hopefully announce it soon."

We wonder if the big film Amy is talking about is Robot 2 itself.

Official confirmation is still awaited.
