Race 3 Box Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan recorded a blockbuster opening and became 2018 highest opener

Eid 2018 saw the release of the much awaited and the much talked about film Race 3 that had Salman Khan in the leading role along with multiple stars such as Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. As soon as the movie hit the theatres, everyone wanted to know how the film was and rush to the nearby theatres to watch Remo D’Souza’s directorial.

Inspite of getting mixed responses from the audience about the plot, acting, dialogues and songs of the film, the collection that the film recorded just on the first day of its release is tremendous such that it has been termed as Bollywood’s highest opener of the year 2018 and dethroned Baaghi 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.

The third franchise of the Race series was also released in 3D and did not had Saif Ali Khan, a person who was missed by everyone who watched the film. Talking about the day 1 box-office collections of the film, it was shared by the Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh on his social media account that revealed that the movie collected as many as Rs 29.17 crore.

Taran took to his Twitter account and wrote, “#Race3 records a GIGANTIC START, despite pre-Eid making a dent in its business… Emerges the BIGGEST OPENER of 2018 [so far]… Fri ₹ 29.17 cr. India biz… With #Eid festivities commencing today [Sat], #Race3 is expected to post MASSIVE NUMBERS.”

 

The numbers at the box-office are expected to rise and it was being predicted by Trade Analyst, Girish Johar that Race 3 that has released on 3500 screens is expected to collect Rs 100 crore in the opening weekend. He said, “Eid hasn’t been announced as of now still Salman’s charm is working on his fans. Also, Anil Kapoor has left the audience excited for the film and Race 3 is expected to earn Rs 30 crore on its opening day.”
