Panipat director Ashutosh Gowariker accidentally reveals the leading characters of his next starring Arjun Kapoor

A few months director Ashutosh Gowariker announced his next magnum opus project Panipat, after the debacle of Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan. With the announcement, the director also revealed the leading star cast and the centric plot of the film. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles, whether it is based on the third war of Panipat.

Since it was not clear that which actor will be playing what role, so as of now, it is quite clear. Recently in an interaction with leading actor Arjun Kapoor on social media Twitter, Ashutosh Gowariker accidentally reveal Arjun Kapoor's character name.

 

According to Ashutosh Gowariker, Arjun Kapoor is playing the role of Sadashiv, the Maratha warrior who lead Marathas in Panipat war against Durrani empire. With this, it is also clear that Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali of Durrani empire who led from Durrani side.

 

While Kriti Sanon is going to play the role of Paravatibai, the second wife of Sadashiv. There is an interesting love story of Parvatibai and Sadashiv that even after Sadashiv's death she denied accepting his death till her last breath.
