PadMan challenge: Akshay Kumar's actress Radhika Apte hits back at Mallika Dua for slamming Bollywood
Akshay Kumar starrer film Pad Man got released on this Friday and the film is getting a great response from the box office and the audience. The audience is praising the performances of the lead actors of the film Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.
Recently, before the release of the film, Akshay Kumar started a Padman challenge and in this challenge, people have to share their pictures on the social media while holding pads in their hands. Many Bollywood celebrities took part in the challenge but there were few people like Mallika Dua who targetted Akshay Kumar and his team for this Padman challenge and claimed that the through this campaign they were doing nothing but wasting sanitary pads.
Now Bollywood actress Radhika Apte has come out in Akshay's support and has given a befitting reply to Mallika Dua. Radhika currently in a media interaction said that they are actors and not social media activists.

Radhika Apte who has played the role of Akshay Kumar's wife in the R Balki's film Padman said, "Actors are not social activists, they have work that calls acting. The film based on Arunachal Muruganathan's aim is to aware people. There are many places including India where periods are believed to be prohibited. We should do something for this cause and the truth is that Bollywood stands together on this cause."

Earlier, Mallika Dua targeted Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar for his 'Ghanta' comment on Mallika Dua during his comedy show that aired on Star Plus.
