Mohit Suri approach this star for Ek Villain 2?
Filmmaker Mohit Suri who is currently busy making his next directorial Malang starring Aditya Roy Kapur also has started working on the sequel of Ek Villain. According to a media report, Mohit Suri has narrated the story to John Abraham and he has liked it. The actor will sign on the dotted line soon and the team will make an official announcement in a few months.
The film will go on floors from early next year once Mohit Suri will wrap up the shooting of Malang. Talking about Ek Villain 2 it is a sequel to 2014 released film Ek Villain starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, and Shraddha Kapoor. Ek Villain was an action thriller film that told the tragic love story of a gangster and Aisha.
Sidharth Malhotra played the role of a gangster named Guru who falls in love with Aisha (Shraddha Kapoor) but a serial killer (Riteish Deshmukh) kills her. Mohit Suri directed Ek Villain just after the success of Aashiqui 2 and like previous one Ek Villain also did amazing at the box office and entered 100 crore club.
Mohit Suri will make the sequel also but the cast and story will have different from the previous one. While talking about John Abraham, he was last seen in Batla House will now be seen in Anees Bazmee's next film Pagalpanti starring alongside Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, and Urvashi Rautela. He will also start shooting for Sanjay Gupta's next Mumbai Saga.
