Baar Baar Dekho Box Office: No takers for the Sidharth Malhotra - Katrina Kaif film

Baar Baar Dekho had a poor opening weekend at the Box-Office as the film raked in around 22 crore in its three day run.

The film fared best at high-end multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab and Bangalore but did not find any takers at mass circuits in central India - Rajasthan, and Gujarat to name a few. While this Sidharth Malhotra - Katrina Kaif starrer wasn't expected to make a noticeable dent in small cities, it was however expected to do much better than it has in metros.

Day Wise Collections:

• Friday: 6.81 crore
• Saturday: 7.65 crore
• Sunday: 7.25 crore (early estimate)
• Total: 21.75 crore (early estimate)

The film witnessed an upward spike on Saturday and Sunday, however that was bound to happen given the weekend benefit. The negative reviews coupled with the below average audience reaction didn't help either.

The budget of Baar Baar Dekho was Rs 45 crore and given the trend, theatrical recovery looks unlikely.
