Jagga Jasoos vs Housefull 3 clash averted: Katrina Kaif confirms during Fitoor promotions

Ranbir Kapoor - Katrina Kaif's much-anticipated film, Jagga Jasoos, has been in the making since the past three years and the release date has been seeing constant delays. The film, which was finally set to release on 3 June 2016, has been postponed yet again.

Around 40 to 45 per cent shoot of the film is still left and the makers have decided to postpone once more rather than racing against time and coming up with sloppy work. In Jagga Jasoos, Ranbir and Katrina will be seen essaying the characters of teenagers. While Ranbir will be seen as a detective who is on a mission to find his father, Katrina Kaif will reportedly play the character of Ranbir's love interest.

The clash between Housefull 3 and Jagga Jasoos was said to be one of 2016's biggest clash. However, during in an interview for Fitoor promotions, Katrina Kaif confirmed that Jagga Jasoos will not release on 3 June as scheduled. The actress said,

"A substantial amount of shooting for Jagga Jasoos is still left. As far as my last discussion with the producers, we hope to release in the end of July or August."

Though the clash between two biggies is averted, the fourth installment of the successful Raaz franchise starring Emraan Hashmi is also slated to release on 3 June. Only time shall tell us if Raaz 4 clashes with Housefull 3 or no.
