It's official. Shah Rukh Khan to play a cameo in Salman Khan's Tubelight

10 years after Om Shanti Om, two superstars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have come together for Kabir Khan's Tubelight. While there have been rumours about King Khan's cameo in the period drama since a long time, it is finally made official by the producers that SRK will play a very important role in the film.

Amar Butala, COO of Salman Khan Films took to twitter to confirm the news.

"When u have 2 of india's biggest superstars on set its MAGIC!Thank u @iamsrk 🙏🏻fr making #Tubelight even more special! @BeingSalmanKhan #skf (sic)" tweeted Butala.

Shah Rukh Khan shot for his cameo in the much anticipated film at a studio in Mumbai on Sunday, 15 January 2017.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight marks the Hindi film debut of Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu. The movie also stars Sohail Khan and Mohammad Zeeshaan in pivotal roles. It is a period drama set against the backdrop of Sino-Indian war.

Tubelight releases during the Eid 2017 weekend.
