Is Shah Rukh Khan's character in Tubelight inspired by 'Little Boy' ?

Earlier it was confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan would be playing an important cameo in Tubelight. The director of the film, Kabir Khan later accidentally revealed on twitter that SRK will be playing a magician in the film. It is set in the backdrop of the 1962 war between India and China also known as Sino-Indian War.

Tubelight, which is produced both by Salman Khan and Kabir, is also rumoured to have taken inspiration from a 2015 Hollywood film, Little Boy. Little Boy is about a young boy, Pepper, who is on a mission to find his lost father during the second World War. Little Boy also has a magician who inspires him to find his lost father. It is said that even in Tubelight, Salman Khan is playing a character which is in search of his missing brother, played by his real life brother, Sohail Khan and Shah Rukh will be playing a magician.

Tubelight also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The film is majorly shot in Leh-Ladakh and Manali and is slated to release this year on Eid.
