Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is one of those in the industry who has left her presence felt every now and then through her movies, dance steps, beauty, fitness, relationships, controversies and what not. One of the major reason why Shilpa is remembered is that of her love affair with Bollywood's Khiladi Kumar, Akshay Kumar who broke her heart as he was double dating with her best friend Twinkle Khanna. Their affair was one of the most talked about topic in the industry as well in the media.

It was during an event when Shilpa was forcefully kissed by Hollywood actor Richard Gere in front of the whole world. A warrant was issued by the people who looked at them by the Rajasthan Court.

Shilpa Shetty participated in the original series of the controversial reality show, Big Brother where she landed into controversy as various racial comments against her were erupted by her co-contestant Jane Goody but the way she managed the situation won everyone's heart. Later, Goody apologized her for all the scene.
5. IPL Betting controversy
Shilpa's name also emerged in the IPL match-fixing controversy but she denied any such involvement. Moreover, her team Rajasthan Royals also won the first season of the game.
