Dhoom 4 to go on floors with Salman Khan in North America in 2017: Reports

Speed News Desk | Updated on: 10 February 2017, 1:49 IST

After working with Yash Raj Films on two films, Ek Tha Tigerand Sultan, Salman Khan is now gearing up for his third association with the prestigious banner. If media reports are to be believed, Khan will start shooting for Dhoom 4 from mid-2017.

Aditya Chopra pitched the basic premise of Dhoom 4 to Salman Khan during the post-production of Sultan and Salman liked what he heard and gave his nod for the fourth instalment of the action franchise. Reportedly, the film will go on floors by mid-2017 and will be shot entirely in North America.

Since director Vijay Krishna Acharya would be busy with the making of Thug, he would not be directing the fourth instalment of the successful franchise. While the basic idea is being developed by Aditya Chopra, YRF is yet to finalise a director for Dhoom 4.

Before moving onto Dhoom 4, Salman Khan will wrap up shooting for his yet-untitled film with Kabir Khan that releases during Eid 2017 and Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film, which is eyeing a late 2017 release.

Official confirmation about Dhoom 4 is still awaited.
