Deepika Padukone shines in the first look of her next film Chhapaak as acid attack survivor Malti
Today the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone shared the first look of her next film Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film Chhapaak is a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and the film will tell her bravey stories. Today Deepika Padukone shared the first look of her from the film and in this look, she is totally looking like Laxmi Agarwal.
Although the actress has put prosthetics on her face to look like an acid attack survivor it is the intense eyes of the actress that makes her look more interesting. Well, this is really a big move for an actress to play an acid attack survivor on screen and Deepika Padukone is just nailing it thorugh out the look and we have no doubt on her acting skills.

Recently, director Meghna Gulzar told her experience of narrating the script to Deepika Padukone. "It was a moment of serendipity when I asked for a meeting with Deepika. I had many conversations with myself that she just may not be interested in doing the kind of film that I was taking to her. And she wasn’t. She was looking to do something lighter after three intense films. But I didn’t have a light, romantic script for her. My film was based on acid violence. Of a woman who epitomized immense courage and strength, in the face of crippling adversity. It felt like a perfect fit. Deepika took on the film, the character, and me, in a heartbeat", Meghna said.
Dil Dhadakne Do and Mirzapur actor Vikrant Massey will be seen playing the leading role in the film. He will be playing Deepika's love interest in the film. The film will release on 10th January 2020 and it will clash with Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaaji: The Usung Hero.
