Dangal goes beyond wrestling: Aamir Khan on comparisons with Salman Khan's Sultan

Aamir Khan is currently in Ludhiana to shoot for his upcoming wrestling drama, Dangal, which is a biopic of Haryanvi wrestler, Mahavir Phogat. The actor, who interacted with the media on the sets of the film revealed that he has always been a big Salman Khan fan and the Sultan actor inspired him to stay fit.

The actor also revealed that Salman Khan is a gifted personality.

"I have always been a huge Salman Khan fan. He is the inspiration behind my bodybuilding. He, in my opinion, is a gifted personality," said Aamir Khan

Ever since Sultan has been announced, the media has been constantly comparing it with Dangal. However, Aamir Khan believes the two are completely different stories and Dangal goes beyond wrestling.

"It is a co-incidence that Sultan and Dangal are releasing in the same year. We have a different story any the only similarity between the two is wrestling. In my opinion, Dangal goes beyond wrestling and it is a very emotional story.

There are so many films set against the backdrop of wrestling, so I don't think we should compare Sultan and Dangal. I am very excited to watch Sultan as Salman's film are very entertaining. I recently watched the teaser and trailer and I absolutely loved it."
