Chhapaak trailer reminds Panga actress Kangana Ranaut of Rangoli’s struggle after acid attack; here’s what she says

Panga actress Kangana Ranaut who is soon to hit the theatres this month recently thanked Chhappak actress Deepika Padukone for doing the film. After watching the trailer Kangana expressed her gratitude by saying that the trailer reminded her of Rangoli Chandel’s struggle.

In the video, Kangana can be seen praising Meghna Gulzar for making such film and Deepika for doing Chhapaak. “ Haal hi mai maine film Chhapaak ka trailer dekha aur mujhe trailer dekhne ke baad apni behen Rangoli ke saath hue haadse ki, jo unke sath acid attack hua tha, uski saari yaadein taza ho gai.”


She further added that Rangoli’s courage and smile is the reason she can take upon everyone and every situation. Her entire family is thanking Meghna and Deepika for taking up such subject to do the film. She continued that those who have been the victim of this incident will get strength from this film and also will be a tight slap on the faces of those who succeeded in their deeds. Though they managed to attack the face their courage remains intact in them and now they all are standing steady and strong.

 

Rangoli who is now Kangana’s manager took to her Twitter to share the video and laud the Chhapaak trailer, “The pain still lingers. Our family thanks team #chhapaak for a story that needs to be told! @deepikapadukone @meghnagulzar @foxstarhindi”

Talking about Deepika, yesterday the actress was in the national capital to promote her film and was also seen at JNU campus to express solidarity. Coming back to Kangana then the actress is soon to hit the theatres with her upcoming film Panga helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film is about a woman who fights all odds to make a comeback as a professional kabaddi player after having a child. The film is slated to release on 24th January this year.
