Chhapaak: Mirzapur actor Vikrant Massey to star opposite Deepika Padukone in Meghna Gulzar's film
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone made buzz and headlines for her marriage with actor Ranveer Singh and now the actress is back to work. She is going to star in Raazi director Meghna Gulzar's next film Chhapaak, a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
Earlier there were the reports that Stree fame actor Rajkummar Roa may star opposite Deepika Padukone in this big film, but now today has confirmed that one surprising name has joined the film. Actually, Vikrant Massey who plays one of the leads in most talked about web-series Mirzapur has bagged this film. Vikrant has always been appreciated for his unique and unconventional roles.

This will be Deepika Padukone's first film just after the marriage and she has not signed any film after the grand success of Padmaavat. Whether talking about Vikrant Massey, he was last seen in films like A Death In The Gunj, Lipstick Under My Burkha and Half Girlfriend. He made his debut with Ranveer Singh starrer Lootera in 2013. After that, he again worked with Ranveer in Dil Dhadakne Do (2015).
