Amy Jackson, who plays the leading lady in Singh Is Bliing, has expressed gratitude at being able to essay an empowered woman in the film.

"It is a strong character which promotes women empowerment, so it was great for me to be a part of film. Hats off to Akshay Kumar for allowing me to do a lot of action. I don't think many actors would give a leading lady chance to perform all the action. I worked really hard for Singh Is Bliing. "

However, it is unfortunate that Bollywood actresses need to express 'gratitude' to their male counterparts to 'allow' them to perform action scenes.

"I would love to do a Hindi film on the lines of Kill Bill. Before Singh Is Bliing I was apprehensive about how audiences would accept my character because an action star like Akshay was not performing any stunts. Now that I know people have accepted me in an action role, I would love to be a part of an out and out action film."
