Amitabh Bachchan signs Hrithik Roshan-starrer Thug. Will Deepika Padukone come on board?

After Dhoom 3, Vijay Krishna Acharya (also called Victor) has been working on the script of his ambitious action flick tentatively titled Thug. The director, who has already signed Hrithik Roshan for the film that will be produced by Yash Raj Films, has been discussing the subject with Amitabh Bachchan since a long time.

After reworking the script and character details, Victor has finally got the legendary actor on board. Talking about the collaboration with Big B, the director said,

"We are doing a film with Mr Bachchan. We have been in talks for a very long time. We are yet to finalise details."

Thug is expected to go on floors early next year. YRF has plans to establish Thug as a big action franchise and present Hrithik Roshan in his much-loved action avatar. Details about Amitabh Bachchan's character in the film have been kept under wraps.

It was recently reported that YRF is keen to get Deepika Padukone on board; however, there has been no confirmation as yet.
