
Akshay Kumar's Airlift witnessed a further rise in collections on Sunday. The film raked in around Rs 17.35 crore on its third day - taking the weekend total to Rs 44 crore.
On Sunday, audiences thronged both multiplexes and mass centres to watch the film - resulting in a growth of about 20 per cent from the film's Saturday figures. The film has seen a solid performance in the metros. With the positive word of mouth working in its favour, there is a high possibility that mass centres too will record steady collections from Monday on.

Day-wise Box Office collection for Airlift:
- Day 1 - Friday (22 January): Rs 12.35 crore
- Day 2 - Saturday (23 January): Rs 14.60 crore
- Day 3 - Sunday (24 January): Rs 17.35 crore
- Total: Rs 44.30 crore
The film will manage to do well on Monday as the night shows collections will see a boost from the Republic Day holiday on 26 January. The film is looking for week one collections of above Rs 70 crore - and is sure to breach the Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office.
The all-India distribution rights of Airlift were sold for around Rs 42 crore.
