Akshay Kumar to team up with PM Narendra Modi

It is by now known that Akshay Kumar’s next film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha directed by Shree Narayan Singh is based on PM Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. As a part of film promotions, the actor will team up with several political leaders to build toilets across the country.

The superstar is now set to team up with the Prime Minister yet again. His next film, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth in lead will promote the concept of Make in India. Reportedly, Modi met the producers of the film and suggested that the film could promote the Make in India theme.

The makers reacted positively to Modi’s suggestion and apart from shooting major portions of the film in India they have also hired Indian technicians to work on the post-production.

Given the film budget, many expected the producers, LYCA to get an international studio to work on the Visual Effects, however they have VFX designer Srinivas Mohan on board, who had earlier worked in Baahubali.

Except for one song, the film has been shot in India with the climax of the film set at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 releasing this Diwali.
