Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma in Karan Johar's Indo-Pak love story?

Karan Johar is currently busy shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan.

Speculation is rife about the plot of the film and it has been rumoured that it will be similar to Teesra Aadmi. However, Johar has denied these reports. The director recently admitted that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was an emotionally draining film as it was a story about love.

A source told Catch that the film will be an Indo-Pak love story which will see Anushka Sharma essaying the role of a Muslim girl from Pakistan and Fawad Khan playing a DJ. The source said:

"Karan Johar has recreated Pakistan in Mandawa. He is currently shooting for a song and some talkie sequences with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. Sharma will be seen essaying the character of a girl from Pakistan whereas Fawad Khan will be seen as a DJ in the film".

"Fawad has an extended guest appearance and in terms of screen time, it is little less than Salman Khan in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai".

There is no clarity on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's role in the film, which is set to release this Diwali. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will clash at the Box Office with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.
