Actor Nargis Fakhri is essaying the character of former model and Bollywood actor Sangeeta Bijlani in Emraan Hashmi's Azhar. The film, which is a biopic on former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, features Nargis as Miss India 1980 (Sangeeta Bijlani) who went on to marry Azharuddin but got separated later.

However, Nargis says she didn't get the opportunity to interact with Bijlani. In an interview to a leading daily, the Rockstar actor mentioned that she has never met Bijlani and got all the details about her personality from the internet.

"I did see some of her movies, but she hasn't done one in a really long time. Researching a person has become easy, thanks to the internet. I see her as a statuesque model-actress and a fashion icon. I have been associated with the fashion business but we are completely different personalities," said Nargis.

Talking about shooting a song sequence with Emraan Hashmi, who is touted as the 'serial kisser' of Bollywood, Nargis shared:

"Emraan Hashmi is a smart conversationalist. I probably didn't enjoy filming the song as much as he did. Lots of kissing happened... In fact, there was so much of it that at one point I wasn't sure if they were retakes, a part of the song, or someone playing a prank on me."
