23 kissing scenes Ranveer Singh & Vaani Kapoor's Befikre. Aditya Chopra takes a gamble

The first look poster of Aditya Chopra's upcoming film, Befikre features the lead pair, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor locking lips. 

According to a dna report, the lead pair, Ranveer and Vaani, will share around 23 passionate kissing scenes in the film, which is said to be loosely based on the 1972 film, Last Tango in Paris.

While the hype surrounding the kissing scenes will pique audience interest. It remains to be seen if the makers can weave the intimate scenes into the plot well. With news of the intimate scenes making waves well ahead of its release, only time will tell if Befikre will fall into the category of films that ride on intimate scenes for marketing and publicity purposes.

While grabbing eyeballs with scenes labelled as bold and intimate might be a no-brainer, it would be interesting to see what made a director like Aditya Chopra, known for subtle. family-oriented films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Mohabattein, Rabne Bana Di Jodi, does with Befikre, which is unchartered territory for the ace director.
